Free Speech has never tasted so good!

I have been a regular poster on Race42012. This is a website supposedly geared to talking about the actual viable candidates for 2012. They focus only on the GOP. Democrats in Kavon's view, has no use. I'm not a Democrat. I've spent my whole adult life as a Republican. I've voted for Regan twice, Bush, Dole, Bush, but could not vote for McCain. this go-round. Why? He did not think of country first, but only of himself. Picking Palin, the most unqualified of the lot, to run with, the one with more skeletons than a grave yard, was his first big decision, and he blew it. He proved to me that he was not fit to be president at that time. He thought only of himself, and not of the country I love.

So, where did that leave me? Well, I'm not one to kiss up the hind end of who happens to be the star de jour. I think Palin and Huckabee should not be in Politics. Braincells are something they left behind. I could support several others. I'm an ardent Romney supporter, but I could go for Demint or someone not yet on the Radar. But, because I dared to criticize Palin, the horny boys over there could not take it and Kavon (possibly a teenager with sever acne blogging from his mom's basement) banned me from his site! Oh, all is not lost... Should I have a mind to, I can still post. I have 'options' that Kavon is too dumb to know about.

This site has been set up to encourage something Kavon forgot to read in the Constitution: Free Speech! There are two sides of the story. Not just one. There ARE good Democrats trying to do a good job out there, and there are bad GOP's trying to only make the name for themselves, and cash in on a big payday. I want to hear ALL sides, not just the side that makes me feel good. I watch Maddow - like her and her insights. Sometimes she is too harsh, but sometimes she hits it out of the Park. I don't like Oberman, I don't care for Beck - again too harsh. Sean I can handle most days, Rush I can't handle ever. Hey, and I'm a huge fan of Martha Stewart's 'everyday living' and 'everyday food' on the radio!

I also don't think Obama is such a bad dude. Do I think the country is heading too far south? Of course I do! I really think Obama is in over his head, and I don't like everything he is doing. Like it or not, we are where we are because we ourselves brought us here. More voted for Obama than for McCain. That's a fact. Maybe we needed an Obama to remind us of our freedoms? Who knows. What I do know is this. There will be another election in a few months. I want to know what the feel is out there. What the 'beat' is. Not what is the purdiest star, but who is the most substantial. Not just for President, but what is happening with our House, Senate and even some of the local stuff that effects the rest of the country.

Suffice to say I'm not as knee jerk as some - especially those that pretend to be 'knowledgeable' on certain websites like r42012. They would prefer it not to be a race, but a coronation for the Quitterqueen, Palin. It's a flipping race, boys. And may the best person WIN.

Here are MY rules. Post what you want, but please, no profanity. I will only remove those that spam, are rude, crude and socially unacceptable. I want to see all sides, not just a love fest for one candidate over another. If you have something, back it up. Don't give a complaint without a solution! Dont' give me soundbites and gaga gushies. Let's have REAL ideas here!

I do have some really good websites that I visit and post on on a regular bases. We'll yak about those another time. My reading and posting cover the whole tamale from far right to far left and places in between. Only one has banned me. The others respect me or tolerate me - whichever! But only one has banned me. It's a mark of pride.

Oh, and Kavon? If you ever find this, I won't ban you. Unlike you, I am a functioning adult. (unless you use profanity, like you do on your own site! Then, I'll have no choice but to use MY standards!).

First issue:
Scott Brown R-Mass. (GOP Senate Nominee) Yea or Nay. And WHY. I think Scott hit it out of the park when he said it was the people's seat, and NOT the Ted Kennedy's seat. I want Scott Brown to win. Have even sent him some $$ to help him on his way. Sometimes, you need a bit of 'fresh air' in the Senate. I think Scott will provide a huge breath of it. Health care NEEDS an overhaul. But what is happening right now is not an overhaul, but a trade down to something we don't want and don't need. We need that 41st vote to put brakes on, and help all sides come together to make this important issue work for all sides, and not just one far left side.

Hope to hear from you all!

Chris
